Strips to measure pH

Urinalysis pH test strips are manufactured for both qualitative and semi-quantitative purposes, and serve as an in vitro diagnostic reagent. pH test strips specifically test pH values in urine or saliva. Please refer to the outside of the box, bottle label, and user guide for the specific testing parameters of these pH test strips. Please read the instructions carefully before use. The results on the strips can be read visually and instrumentally. Discover the new strips to measure pH!

Sample Collection and Preparation:

Use a clean, dry, sterile container to collect urine before testing.

The test should be done immediately after urination.

You can also hold the pH test strip in the urine stream and shake the strip to remove any excess urine immediately before testing.

The results will be displayed in 15 seconds.

Urine Test Procedure

  1. Perform the test preferably with the second urine of the day.
  2. Remove a strip from the jar and replace the lid immediately. (The strips should be covered to protect them from moisture.)
  3. Immerse the reagent area of the strip in the urine sample or urine stream and remove it quickly.
  4. Remove any excess urine.
  5. Place the strip horizontally on a flat surface and wait 15 seconds.
  6. Carefully read the test results within 15 seconds, in a well-lit area with the test reactive areas near the color chart on the bottle.
  7. Compare the results with the graph on the jar.
  8. Color changes that appear after 30 seconds have NO diagnostic significance.

The urine pH level shows how acidic or alkaline the internal fluids are.

Measuring pH in urine is more precise than in saliva, since the pH of saliva can vary more easily.

Test procedure for saliva

  1. Perform this test when you wake up in the morning or wait 1-2 hours after eating or drinking.
  2. Accumulate saliva in the mouth, rinse and swallow. Repeat this several times.
  3. Deposit saliva in a spoon or small container.
  4. Immerse both reactive areas of the pH strip in saliva for 3-4 seconds, remove excess saliva.
  5. Place the strip horizontally on a flat surface and wait 15 seconds.
  6. Carefully read the test results in 15 seconds in a well-lit area with the reactive areas near the color chart on the bottle.
  7. Compare the results with the boat graph.
  8. Color changes that appear after 30 seconds have no diagnostic significance.

The pH level in saliva provides information about the state of the body’s mineral reserves.

The best way to know the approximate state of our body pH is through urine. It is recommended to test with the first urine in the morning, since it is during the night that the body eliminates toxins and we can know how we have been. during the last 8 or 10 hours.

It can also be tested throughout the day, to see how what we eat affects us and, above all, how Alkaline Care supplements positively affect us, as well as a more alkalizing diet and lifestyle.

Using the strips is a very good way to more objectively check the state and evolution of the effect that a more alkaline lifestyle and our alkalizing products have on our body.

Storage pH strips

Store between 2-30°C in dry conditions. Keep it away from direct sunlight and the refrigerator. Do not touch the test area of the test strips. Isolate them from humidity, light and high temperature to preserve reactive activity.

Expiration: Check the label/box.

Test Conditions

Ambient temperature: 20°C – 30°C, relative humidity ≤80%, best test temperature: 30°C -27°C.

Storage temperature: between 2-30°C in dry conditions.

Attention

Water cannot be used as a negative quality control liquid.

Continuous testing of the urine sample will help identify acidity vs. alkalinity.
