Coconut cream with chia seeds

Today, we are sharing this alkaline coconut cream and chia seeds recipe. It is an alkaline and delicious dessert that you can serve to your entire family. It contains a lot of omega 3, fiber, alkaline minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. There are only a couple of ingredients that are not 100% alkaline, but they are largely compensated by the other ingredients that are alkaline and also give it an exceptional flavor. Enjoy this coconut cream with chia seeds!

Coconut cream with chia seeds

Preparation for 4 people.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of organic coconut milk.
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds.
  • 1 date.
  • 1 cup of organic soy yogurt with coconut or natural flavor.
  • 1 small dessert spoon of organic coconut oil.
  • 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds or a tablespoon of organic corn flour.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract.

Coverage for 3 varieties

  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 handful of various nuts (almonds, macadamias, pistachios, Brazil nuts, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon with walnuts.
  • 1 fig

Instructions to make coconut cream with chia seeds

First of all, mix the coconut milk and the date very well until you get a homogeneous paste. This small touch will give it a very pleasant light sweet flavor.  Next, in a large bowl, mix the coconut milk with the chia seeds, vanilla, ground flax seeds and sesame seeds. Store it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until the chia seeds expand.

To serve, fill the bottom of a small glass with a layer of coconut yogurt, then add a thick layer of the chia mixture, then add an extra thin layer of coconut yogurt. Cover it with your favorite topping.

Here are my 3 favorite possibilities.

  • Simply with blueberries (a slightly acidifying fruit, but delicious and with a multitude of interesting nutritional properties)
  • Walnut and cinnamon mix. Great!
  • With fig to give it a sweeter and more exotic flavor and to complement the coconut

Another variation could be to mix two teaspoons of raw cocoa powder with the chia or coconut milk (when you are mixing it with the dates) to turn it into a tub of chocolate and chia cream.

It’s creamy, delicious and alkaline!
