The recipes that we propose are delicious, very alkaline and easy to make.

Detox broth to eliminate toxins

This recipe has onion and leek, rich in vitamins, especially Vitamin C. It is highly cleansing and diuretic. Contains potassium, folic acid and sulfur that purifies the skin and liver. It also contains lemon, which is highly detoxifying and diuretic, due to its potassium and Vitamin C content. Celery cleanses the blood and liver, improves digestion and promotes intestinal transit. Parsley is very rich in Vitamin C and flavonoids, it is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and diuretic.

Ingredients:

  • 2 onions peeled and cut into pieces.
  • 2 leeks cut into pieces.
  • 2 carrots peeled and cut into thin strips.
  • 1 lemon.
  • 1 stick of celery cut into pieces.
  • 1 bunch of fresh parsley.
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil.
  • 1 pinch of salt.

Preparation:

  • In a pot, put 2 liters of water, and add all the cut ingredients except the carrots directly before heating.
  • Reserve the cut carrots and a piece of celery that we cut into thin strips.
  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes and strain.
  • Add a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Lightly sauté the carrots and celery.
  • We serve the broth in a bowl and add a handful of carrot and celery.

Tip:

Drink 1 cup before each meal and dinner so that its cleansing effect is greater and has a satiating effect.

Green diuretic broth to eliminate fluids

This is a highly purifying and diuretic broth. It will help you eliminate fluid retention, in addition to boosting your metabolism, cleansing the liver and kidneys. For this broth we are going to use artichokes. The artichoke is hepatoprotective, choleretic, cholagogue, helps lower cholesterol, cleanse the liver and lose weight. Ginger is purifying and anti-inflammatory, improves digestion and purifies the blood. We will also use rosemary and bay leaf, since they have bactericidal and disinfectant properties.

Ingredients:

  • 4 large artichokes. We will use the entire outer leaves and the heart.
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped.
  • 2 green peppers, chopped.
  • 1 onion peeled and chopped.
  • 4 chopped celery sticks.
  • 1 bunch of parsley.
  • 2 bay leaves.
  • 1 teaspoon ground rosemary.
  • 2 liters of water.
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation:

  • We will separate all the artichoke leaves and chop the heart. We will use the whole artichoke.
  • We put the water to boil in a pot and add all the ingredients.
  • We can also add a pinch of ground chilli if we want to further enhance the Detox and metabolism activator effect of the broth (optional).
  • We cook it over low heat for 40 minutes and strain it.
  • We will serve it in 1 bowl.

Tip:

It is recommended to take this broth for at least 21 days for a deeper purification. Take 1 cup 3 times a day, before breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cleansing cabbage and rosemary soup

For this soup we are going to use only 4 ingredients. The main ingredient is cabbage, rich in vitamins, sulfur and fiber. It is an excellent cruciferous plant to purify the skin and liver. It is recommended for people who suffer from digestive and intestinal problems. Being very alkalizing, it helps keep low-grade acidosis at bay. It is a very simple recipe to make.

Ingredients:

  • ½ chopped cabbage/cabbage.
  • 2 carrots peeled and cut into small pieces and set aside
  • 3 onions peeled and cut.
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary.
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper.

Preparation:

  • Place in a pot of water and add the cabbage, onions, rosemary, salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes. Cool and strain.
  • Serve the broth in a bowl and add the cut carrots before serving.

Tip:

This highly purifying broth can be taken all year round and especially if we have heavy digestion. Take 1 cup twice a day before lunch and dinner.
