Water is the source of all forms of life, including humanity. In the written language of China, the word “sea” is composed of three elements: water, man and mother. This is equivalent to saying that the sea is the mother of humanity. Water is one of life’s mysterious substances, considering that we are surrounded by it. Scientists continuously discover surprising qualities about water. Water is a protector of life.
Water as a Protector of Life
Most substances reach their lightest state as a gas; they are heavier in their liquid form and much heavier in their solid state. However, water becomes lighter in its solid state than in its liquid state, as evidenced by ice floating on water. If water lacked this mysterious property, lakes and ponds would freeze from the bottom up in winter, which would kill all life forms within them. One can thus appreciate the great wisdom of the Creator in maintaining existence. Water is not only the source of life but also its protector.
Over 70% of our body weight is water, which means that a person weighing 120 pounds (approximately 58 kilograms) contains an average of 37 liters of water. It is crucial to have a complete understanding of water and to consume the best quality water. Water is a powerful solvent, which is why it contains many invisible components: minerals, oxygen, nutrients, waste, pollution and more.
Seawater
Seawater is salty because, over time, minerals and salts from mountains dissolve and are carried to the sea by rivers. In the human body, blood (90% water) circulates, distributing nutrients and oxygen while simultaneously collecting waste and carbon monoxide, which are transported to the organs responsible for elimination. If water wouldn´t be a strong solvent, it wouldn´t be able to fulfill these functions.
The water molecule is H₂O, meaning that two hydrogen atoms are bonded to one oxygen atom. The shape of the water molecule resembles Mickey Mouse’s face: the head represents oxygen and the ears represent hydrogen. Given that oxygen is electrically negative and hydrogen is electrically positive, the water molecule is a polarized magnetic field. For this reason, a water molecule cannot exist independently; it must join or combine with other water molecules to form a molecular structure known as “clusters.” At low temperatures, most of these structures are hexagonal, a shape also seen in snowflakes.
Distilled Water
In distilled water, at room temperature, 1 out of every 10 million molecules (1 in 10⁷) is ionized. When a water molecule is ionized, it separates into hydrogen ions (H⁺) and hydroxide ions (OH⁻). Neutral water contains an equal number of hydrogen and hydroxide ions within a given container. This number is 10⁻⁷ times the total number of water molecules in the container (let’s call this number N). This can be summarized by saying that water has a pH of 7.
Acidic water has a higher number of hydrogen ions than hydroxide ions. For example, in acidic water with a pH of 4, the number of hydrogen ions is 10⁻⁴ times N, and the number of hydroxide ions is 10⁻¹⁰ times N. The law of nature dictates that the exponents always add up to 14 (4+10). In alkaline water with a pH of 9, the number of hydrogen ions is 10⁻⁹ times N. Note that 10⁻⁵ is 10,000 times greater than 10⁻⁹, and we have 5+9=14. Since the exponents sum up to 14, water with a pH of 7 is considered neutral—neither acidic nor alkaline. The value of pOH equals 14 minus the pH value, so it is not typically mentioned. This is why instruments to measure pH are readily available, while those for pOH are not.
Alkaline Water
Alkaline water contains more hydroxide ions (OH⁻) than hydrogen ions (H⁺), meaning it has more oxygen atoms than neutral water. This is why alkaline water is known as oxygen-rich water. Conversely, acidic water is deficient in oxygen. As an interesting side note, in a 10-ounce (296 ml) glass of water, there are approximately 10²⁵ H₂O molecules. If this water has a pH of 10, there would be about 10²¹ hydroxide ions (OH⁻) and approximately 10¹⁵ hydrogen ions (H⁺). The number of hydrogen ions is a millionth of the number of hydroxide ions, making it negligible.
This abundance of hydroxide ions neutralizes acidic hydrogen ions in the human body, reducing acidic waste. This process is what I call “Reversing Aging,” or in other words, rejuvenation.
That´s why we recoment drinking alkaline water and you can make it just by adding alkaline drops lique PuripHy to your water!
