How to fight against candidiasis

Candidiasis is becoming increasingly common, and in some cases, it can be difficult to diagnose. However, this condition can be prevented and treated. In today’s article, we’ll discuss how to fight against intestinal candidiasis with an alkaline diet and colon hydrotherapy.

What is Candidiasis (Candida albicans)?

Candidiasis is an infection caused by various types of fungi, the most common being *Candida albicans*. This fungus is typically present in the intestinal flora (as well as in the vaginal, penile, oral, esophageal, urinary tract, and skin areas) but can cause infection when it grows excessively. This usually occurs when there is an ecological imbalance, meaning the absence of certain bacteria that act as regulators and keep fungi in check.

These fungi particularly thrive in the intestines and mucous membranes of the digestive tract. When they grow excessively, they produce powerful toxins known as “mycotoxins” in the intestine, which then enter the bloodstream and affect all organs, disrupting health and altering the body’s acid-base balance.

Causes of Candidiasis

There are several potential factors, but candidiasis is primarily diagnosed when there is an imbalance in the intestinal bacterial flora, caused by:

  • Weakened immune system.
  • Use of antibiotics or other medications that affect negatively de gut microbiome.
  • Certain oncological medical treatments.
  • Stress, distress, and anxiety.
  • Acidic diets that disrupt the intestinal microflora: sugar, white flours and carbohydrates, dairy, alcohol, processed foods containing artificial colorings, flavorings, and preservatives, and trans fats.

Symptoms of Candidiasis:

  • General anxiety and cravings for certain foods (sweets, chocolates, potato chips, nuts, vinegar, etc.).
  • Irritability and mood swings.
  • Chronic fatigue.
  • Joint and muscle pain.
  • Lack of concentration and mental fog.
  • Abdominal bloating, gas, and flatulence.
  • Poor digestion.
  • Diarrhea and constipation.
  • Anal and vaginal itching, sometimes all over the body.
  • Bruxism (teeth grinding).
  • Lymphatic system issues.
  • Liver problems.
  • Depression and sadness.

How to fight against Candidiasis

Alkaline Diet

It is essential to completely eliminate sugar and refined white flour as they directly feed *Candida*. Also, avoid acidic foods such as dairy (which also contains sugar), alcohol, vinegar, and all industrially processed foods.

Focus on a diet rich in chlorophyll-rich vegetables, greens, and high-quality proteins and fats. Avocado is a highly recommended fruit in these cases.

The intake of liquid chlorophyll can also help keep “Candida” under control. By oxygenating the tissues and the intestinal tract, “Candida” cannot proliferate, allowing the development of a healthy intestinal microflora.

Deep Hydration

Drinking high-quality alkaline water is essential to keep “Candida” at bay, as it acts like a soap that helps eliminate toxins and mucus from the intestines.

Remineralization

Taking Phour Salts regularly will help you maintain a natural alkaline state. In an alkaline environment, beneficial intestinal bacteria survive longer and reach more distal areas. The intestinal microflora is responsible for controlling fungal overgrowth, including “Candida”.

Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon cleanse “hydrotherapy” is a very safe technique performed by a therapist at a specialized medical center. Hydrotherapy helps eliminate toxins, fecal buildup, mucus, and “Candida” from the intestines. It is a highly effective method that reduces bloating and pain. As the intestines are cleansed, symptoms subside, and the person experiences increasing well-being, recovering its health and intestinal balance. In short, “Candida” disappears.

It is advisable to take Phlush during the 3 days prior to the colon hydrotherapy to prepare the body for deep cleansing. Phlush is a mild osmotic laxative that helps eliminate mucus while promoting the regeneration of the gastric mucosa, thanks to its content of vitamin C and L-Glutamine.

Other Tips

Another highly recommended supplement could be a probiotic to repopulate the intestines with beneficial bacteria. This will not only help fight against “Candida” but also will strengthen the immune system.

It is also advisable to take a blend of medicinal mushrooms to strengthen the entire body, enhance the immune system and  prevent “Candida” infections.

By following these steps, you will notice a significant improvement. But most importantly, you will prevent “Candida” from developing in your body.
